About Garrison Farm

Garrison Farm is located on a dirt road in rural and scenic Potter County in north central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life the farm is now home to a variety of animals.The farm has been in the family since the early 1950's when it was purchased as a working dairy farm but times changed and the farm got out of the dairy business and was idle for many years. Currently we are raising 2 breeds of cattle; Belted Galloway's and Hereford's with our first calf in over 40 years being born on the farm in the spring of 2016, "Garrison's Glory" a Beltie was a long awaited event. Bobo, a Beltie bull was added later that year to do his part in expanding the herd. The farm is also home to a bunch of pigs including 7 breeding sows and our current boar Studly. No farm would be complete without the crowing of a rooster so we have a few Barred Rocks and some blue egg laying Araucana's along with some white Pekin ducks to add additional noise.
